The John Anson Ford Amphitheater is one of the oldest performing arts sites in Los Angeles that is still in use.

Complete landscape architecture services were provided for the renovation of the theater, including accesibility compliance, a fountain and outdoor eating and gathering areas. The dramatic sloped entry to the building necessitated intensive grading for the accesibility ramps,

which were incorporated into terraces and intimate picnic areas.
