This Bel Air residence designed by Gwathmey Siegel and Associate Architects sits atop an existing 2-acre plateau with panoramic views of Westwood, the Pacific Ocean, and a nearby canyon.

The design builds off the modernist vision for the site to heighten the sense of arrival, engage the house with its landscape, and extend the eye out to the stunning views afforded by the site.

The project also included rich, hillside plantings to preserve the site's slope, and create a walkable escape for the owners.
